Charity Trip to Tuyên Quang – More Than Just a Journey

Hello! My name is Manh Nguyen Dinh, I’m 27 years old, currently working as a programmer at CONCRETE Co., Ltd.

On April 15–16, I had the opportunity to join Mr. Long on a charity trip to Bao Lam, Tuyen Quang. From my past experiences visiting many remote areas, I had assumed that the place we were heading to would be underdeveloped and lacking. However, throughout the journey and upon arriving there, I was genuinely surprised in many ways.

Thanks to the attention and support from leadership as well as generous donors, the facilities here have become well-developed and adequately equipped. From roads and electricity to essential daily necessities, everything is much more complete. More importantly, the schools are now more spacious and well-built, with proper desks and chairs, and clean concrete playgrounds where children can freely play. Having a solid and secure school environment surely helps students feel more confident and at ease in their learning and personal development.

Seeing the children’s innocent smiles and their bright, pure eyes brought me a very special feeling — as if I were returning to my own childhood, a time of carefree days, simple joys, and the opportunity to learn.

During this trip, Mr. Long and I represented the company in donating two laptops to the teachers at Lang Can Secondary School. We believe that caring for teachers is also a way of caring for the students, as they are the ones who nurture and guide the younger generation. We hope that with improved equipment, both administrative work and teaching activities can be carried out more efficiently and effectively.

Although the trip was short, I learned a great deal from the members of the volunteer group. They truly understand how to create value, contribute to the future, and possess a broad and far-sighted vision. As for myself, I will continue to learn, strive, and keep improving, hoping that one day I can also contribute to building the country and become a person who brings value to society.

As the journey comes to an end, I am sincerely grateful to the company for trusting me and giving me the opportunity to contribute a small part to positive social values. More than just a trip, it was a chance for me to broaden my perspective, learn from inspiring individuals from different companies and countries, and bring back many meaningful and unforgettable experiences.
